1Who it's for
A borrower you can't approve today because of their credit, who wants help getting ready to buy.
2How it works
What the borrower pays the company
Total to the company: $2,000. These are the terms as described to us on 10/06; the company's written agreement is what counts.
3How to refer
- Give the borrower the referral link. They choose whether to use it.
- You never collect money, sign them up, or handle their credit reports for the company.
- You and CLEAR receive nothing from the company for a referral.
Your link and a meeting with Darnell are coming. We'll let you know.
4What to say
"Right now your credit is the piece holding this up. You have a few options: you can work on it yourself, with a HUD-approved housing counselor, or with a credit company we know, Jones Innovation Group. It's completely your choice, and there's no pressure either way. Nobody can promise a certain score or an approval, but whenever you're ready, I'll be here to take another look."
5Rules
- No promises. Never promise a score increase, a timeline, or a loan approval.
- Accurate information stays. Never suggest disputing information that is accurate.
- Nothing comes back to us. CLEAR and its loan officers receive nothing from the company: no money, leads, gifts or marketing.
- The borrower chooses. They can use any credit counselor, or none. HUD-approved housing counselors are another option, and many charge little or nothing.
- Keep it out of the file. No borrower credit details in email to the company; the borrower shares what they choose.
